You were the most gorgeous, unique, loving, playful cat, and I miss you so very much. I'm having a hard time realizing you wont be here with me every day, my great companion. You wont wake up next to my pillow, or play with your favorite red ball, that really got you playful. You wont follow me around everywhere, and make me laugh with your curious ways. I loved every moment I shared with you. My tears wont bring you back, & I do hope its true time heals all wounds. I'll never forget you, you're eternally in my heart. In the silent Christmas morning my heart begins to
ache as feelings from the day you left dawn slowly with daybreak.
I say a prayer of grateful thanks for the life that I've been blessed
and ask for strength so that I might through pain find happiness.
God sent you as a present though not received on Christmas day,
a gift of paws that reached down deep and stole my heart away.
Tears are part of healing, each one shed will ease the pain, so that memories will come to mind in a most dynamic, ardent way.
I doubt that you would want me to spend this day in tears.
I know you'd rather see me smile as from atop a cloud you peer.
Though a time or two I've lost my way since the Keeper called you Home,
now faith restored by angel paws will never come undone. A loving aura fills the sky as you rest on clouds of fleece,
and angels gently tuck you in,
may you sleep in heavenly peace.

A Christmas Wish

Lights are glowing softly on the lush,
green Christmas tree,
and candles burn with lively flames dancing just for me. The house is oh so quiet as my loved ones slumber deep,
it gives me pause to think of you before I go to sleep. I remember our first Christmas, you were new and quite confused,
and concluded that it had to be each gift was meant for you.
The contents did not matter be it sweater, hat or game.
In your mind you were convinced each tag spelled out your name.
I smile and recall fondly how you humored me and wore those silly reindeer antlers that I found at the pet store.
But my favorite Christmas memory that holds steadfast and true is the kiss you placed upon my cheek when I whispered, "I love you."
My deepest wish this Christmas your first one at Rainbow Bridge,
is that you're happy and content along with all of God's bridge kids.
When Christmas morning dawns so bright my first thought will be of you,
and right away I'll know that you are thinking of me too.
Enjoy Christmas in Heaven you are Home where you belong.
